About our breeding program
I would like to take a minute to discuss the importance of a sound breeding program. Here at Uherdit Border Collies each of our dogs must meet our high standards of sound structure, herding instinct, and sound temperaments. Each of our dogs and bitches have had their hip x-rays submitted to OFA and or PennHip for evaluation. Their eyes are cleared via either CERF or CEA/DNA through Optigen. Most importantly each of them is thoroughly evaluated on their conformation. We believe that it is important to know each dogs strengths and faults so that breedings can be planned to produce puppies of exceptional quality. Color is always a secondary factor in planning our litters.

Fury is TNS and CL Genotype Clear/Normal by parentage. He is CEA Genotype Carrier and his hearing is BAER tested normal. He is CERF clear and scored "G-0" on Dr. Peter Bedford's Gonioscopy scale. His hips are OFA Good and his elbows are Normal.
Myst is OFA Good, CEA/DNA Normal.
Myst is due in heat in March, and if all goes well we should have puppies on the ground sometime in May. We are currently accepting deposits on this litter, please contact Debbie at kiradaw@msn.com for more information.

Cap and Kit are both high drive border collies. We expect all the puppies from this litter to also be high drive puppies. We are looking for performance homes for these pups as they will need a job to do.
